The Director of Sales will play a critical role in driving the success of our client’s real estate investment company by providing strategic leadership and guidance to their sales teams. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing, and growing the sales teams, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to the sales teams, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their goals.
- Establish and communicate sales targets, ensuring they are understood and embraced by all team members.
- Continuously evaluate market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Sales Growth and Performance
- Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue growth by monitoring sales activities, pipelines, and conversion rates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to expand business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales performance.
Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales team members, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting professional growth and development.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Implement effective sales training programs to enhance team members’ selling skills and product knowledge.
Reporting and Communication
- Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, for presentation to senior management.
- Communicate sales strategies, goals, and progress to the sales teams, ensuring alignment and engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure cross-functional coordination and support.
- 4+ years in a sales leadership role with a focus on direct-to-consumer sales.
- 6+ years of direct-to-consumer sales experience with a proven track history of success.
- Strong track record of successfully growing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
- Excellent leadership traits with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field, preferred.
