Essential Job Functions

As the Director of New Home Sales, you will lead and manage a team of new home sales professionals across multiple communities in Central Florida. Your focus will be on performance management, tactical coaching, team development, and ensuring a consistent, customer-focused sales process. You will play a vital role in driving sales volume, refining strategy, and collaborating across departments to deliver an exceptional buyer experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales teams across multiple communities.
  • Ensure consistent execution of the company’s unique sales process.
  • Set and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and community performance.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard top sales talent.
  • Partner with marketing and construction leaders to align strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team collaboration.
  • Maintain high standards in customer experience and service delivery.
  • Use market insights to adapt pricing, messaging, and incentives.
  • Support scalability and growth with process improvements and future planning.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive culture, manage through change, and build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in new home sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or sales management role.
  • Strong understanding of new home construction, sales center operations, and customer relationship management.
  • Proven success leading high-performing new home sales teams.
  • Familiarity with proprietary or non-traditional sales methodologies is preferred; adaptable to new psychological-based sales approaches.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; ability to generate and analyze reports to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenter and inspiring team leader.
