Essential Job Functions

As the Director of Operations for our client, you will be the operational anchor supporting the company’s leadership team. You will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day issues across departments are resolved effectively, establishing greater team accountability, and driving process optimization. The role serves as the go-to operations leader for resolving most of the team’s challenges and will report directly to the ownership team.

This role will also require you to bridge technical and strategic functions by coordinating with third-party vendors, managing marketing and lead generation operations, and ensuring KPIs across all departments are accurate and actionable. You’ll help relieve the leadership team from operational distractions so they can focus on strategic growth and vision execution.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operational support across operations, marketing, lead management, acquisitions, and more.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal team needs, resolving the majority of issues before escalation is needed.
  • Lead and mentor department heads and team members, ensuring consistent performance management and support.
  • Ensure KPI tracking, reporting accuracy, and the integrity of data inputs and outputs, especially across Google Sheets-based systems.
  • Support ongoing refinement and development of operational workflows and documentation across the business.
  • Work closely with leadership to communicate business goals and implement initiatives accordingly.
  • Serve as the project lead and point of communication for third-party technology vendors; ensure clear translation of leadership vision into implementation plans.
  • Assist with onboarding and training support for team members and help build a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend scalable improvements to boost operational efficiency.
  • Act as a bridge between the leadership team and operational execution, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

 

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of operational leadership experience in a small to mid-sized, high-performance organization.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, coaching, and holding others accountable to results and KPIs.
  • Strong familiarity with Google Sheets, including experience with formulas, linked spreadsheets, and KPI dashboards.
  • Ability to understand and manage cross-department workflows and resolve operational issues quickly.
  • Experience in a sales-driven organization is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments and functions.
  • Capable of evaluating third-party vendor performance and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Proactive mindset and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
