Essential Job Functions
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for homeowners looking to sell their properties. Your role is to respond quickly to inbound leads, ask qualifying questions, and set up opportunities for the acquisitions team to close deals. You will engage with motivated sellers primarily through phone calls and text messaging, building rapport and identifying viable prospects.
The goal for this hire is to increase the volume of qualified leads passed to the acquisitions team, reduce missed opportunities, and enhance the consistency and professionalism of the initial client interaction.
Position Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to new leads through phone and text, typically within five minutes of inquiry.
- Use a structured call flow to build rapport, uncover seller motivation, and gather key property details.
- Ask qualifying questions to determine property condition, seller timeline, and price expectations.
- Schedule appointments for the acquisitions team with well-vetted leads.
- Maintain detailed notes in the CRM to support seamless handoffs and effective follow-up.
- Ensure a consistent and professional tone in all communications, aligned with the company’s values.
- Follow up with warm leads consistently over time to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine scripts and improve call techniques.
Position Qualifications
- Ideally 1–3 years of experience in an inside sales, customer service, or call center role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Comfortable spending the majority of the day on the phone and engaging with clients.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections with confidence.
- Highly responsive and reliable in managing inbound leads and following up on scheduled tasks.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating CRMs, call tools, and SMS platforms.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to contribute to a growing sales team.
- Familiarity with real estate or investment property terminology is a plus but not required.
