Essential Job Functions
As an Investor Relations Associate for our client, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with prospective and existing investment partners, primarily within the single family office community. This includes executing outbound outreach strategies, conducting discovery conversations, coordinating investor communications, and maintaining a highly organized pipeline within the CRM system. You will serve as a key connector between external investors and the internal acquisitions and leadership teams, ensuring consistent communication, education, and engagement throughout the investment lifecycle.
The goal for this hire is to support the buildout of a scalable investor outreach and relationship management platform by driving consistent activity, maintaining strong pipeline discipline, and helping convert initial conversations into long-term capital partnerships.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume, personalized outbound email outreach campaigns to targeted investor groups using established sequencing strategies and tools
- Monitor engagement metrics such as opens, clicks, and replies to prioritize follow-up and drive meaningful conversations
- Respond to inbound inquiries and schedule meetings with prospective investors in a timely and professional manner
- Run introductory discovery calls to understand investor objectives, preferences, and decision-making processes while clearly communicating the firm’s investment strategy
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions within the CRM system, ensuring strong pipeline hygiene and data integrity
- Coordinate follow-up meetings with internal leadership, including senior investment team members, to support deeper due diligence discussions
- Provide investors with access to relevant materials, including deal summaries, data room content, and track record information
- Stay consistently engaged with prospects through ongoing communication, nurturing relationships over a long sales cycle
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay informed on current and upcoming investment opportunities and communicate those effectively to investors
- Assist in the creation or coordination of investor materials and responses to specific information requests
- Support the execution of investor meetings, both virtual and in-person, including scheduling, preparation, and follow-up
- Travel as needed for meetings, conferences, and relationship-building opportunities
Position Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, institutional sales, or a related field within real estate or financial services
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with sophisticated investors and stakeholders
- Comfortable managing a high volume of outreach and conversations while maintaining a high level of personalization and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships over time with a consultative and education-focused approach
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple conversations and opportunities simultaneously
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, with a disciplined approach to tracking activity and maintaining accurate records
- Familiarity with real estate investment concepts such as joint ventures, limited partner and general partner structures, and investment underwriting fundamentals
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to building systems and processes from the ground up
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams while also working independently to drive outcomes
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a long-term relationship development mindset
