Essential Job Functions
As the Project Manager for Remote Property Operations, you will oversee post-eviction property project management, renovations, and resale efforts across multiple out-of-state markets. You will be responsible for managing a growing portfolio of properties acquired across three separate states. This role includes initiating and overseeing all steps required to prepare these properties for resale.
From growing the roster of qualified vendors and obtaining contractor bids to managing renovation timelines, you will be responsible for every stage of the property renovation process. This position requires strong organizational skills, networking abilities, and a resourceful, solutions-oriented approach to managing remote projects effectively without travel.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage a consistent pipeline of 5–8 new out-of-state properties monthly from the point of eviction through sale.
- Coordinate all post-eviction property needs, including trash-out, assessments, and lock changes.
- Source and manage local contractors for renovations and repairs, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local title companies, agents, and service providers in each market.
- Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation for each property.
- Utilize technology to organize project data, contacts, and visual documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely property listings by coordinating with agents and internal teams.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for property-related issues, collaborating with acquisitions, dispositions, and transaction coordination staff.
- Drive process improvements for remote project workflows and contribute to building scalable systems.
Position Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience in residential real estate project management.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing vendors, coordinating contractors, and overseeing multiple projects.
- Strong networking skills to establish and maintain vendor relationships across diverse geographic areas.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable using tools like spreadsheets, project tracking systems, and other technologies.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic, process-driven environment.
- No travel required.
