Essential Job Functions
As an Acquisitions Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing residential real estate deals throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. This includes managing the full acquisition cycle—from initial lead contact to closing deals. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, market knowledge, and the ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with internal teams.

The goal for this hire is to enhance the company’s market presence by executing high-value acquisitions, building rapport with sellers, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from contract to disposition.

Position Responsibilities

  • Meet in-person with sellers throughout the Bay Area to evaluate properties, build rapport, and negotiate acquisitions.
  • Qualify inbound leads provided through various marketing channels and independently schedule appointments.
  • Perform property walkthroughs, assess seller motivations, and gather detailed information including photos, terms, and key documentation.
  • Utilize tools such as Zillow and MLS (via support from licensed agents) to conduct comparative market analysis and determine appropriate offer prices.
  • Negotiate contracts confidently and ethically, ensuring deals align with company profitability goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including dispositions and transaction coordinators based in Israel, to ensure timely and complete handoffs.
  • Follow up persistently with leads that do not initially convert, maintaining strong communication and eventually closing delayed opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of seller interactions and deal progress within the company CRM.
  • Adapt to a flexible and dynamic schedule, often handling multiple appointments and communications daily. 

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of real estate acquisitions, sales, or related experience, ideally in the San Francisco market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly with sellers.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to close deals independently.
  • Familiarity with real estate valuation tools, especially Zillow and MLS (access provided via internal agents).
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage appointments, follow-ups, and reporting without close supervision.
  • Comfortable working remotely and communicating with international teams.
  • Persistent and goal-oriented, with a track record of achieving or exceeding performance metrics.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to integrate with a cross-functional, multicultural team.
