Essential Job Functions
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of residential acquisitions professionals. Your role is to drive accountability, execute sales training, and ensure consistent delivery of sales results. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll lead daily morning huddles, reinforce best practices, coach in real time, and help grow both new and seasoned sales professionals. You will ensure the team hits sales goals across multiple territories, and play a critical role in talent development and recruitment.
This role requires someone who thrives on building team culture, driving urgency, and creating structure and accountability within a fast-paced, high-lead-volume environment. You will be the sales floor quarterback, consistently elevating team performance and helping push company growth to the next level.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead daily team huddles and trainings to reinforce standards, role play scripts, and maintain team motivation
- Manage and drive performance of the acquisitions team to hit individual and collective sales targets
- Create accountability through clear KPIs and proactive sales coaching and intervention
- Partner with recruiting teams to interview, assess, and onboard new sales talent into the organization
- Coach and mentor underperformers while continuing to challenge and develop top performers
- Implement and maintain sales systems and processes to ensure consistency across all markets
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategy, performance reporting, and market expansion efforts
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, converting insights into actionable strategies
- Ensure all reps adhere to a disciplined sales process, with a strong emphasis on urgency and follow-up
- Conduct field ride-alongs and shadowing sessions for in-person coaching opportunities
Position Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership with proven success managing high-performing teams
- Strong background in inside or outside sales, ideally in high-volume environments
- Track record of recruiting, training, and developing successful salespeople
- Exceptional motivator and communicator who can energize and lead through influence and accountability
- Comfortable with data analysis, KPIs, and using performance metrics to drive decisions
- Previous experience in real estate or home services is highly desirable
- Willingness to be in-office daily and lead by example in a high-activity, fast-paced environment
- A leader who thrives on winning, pushing for results, and developing future leaders
