Essential Position Functions
As their Vice President of Growth, you will own the end-to-end growth strategy while developing leaders who can scale the business. Your primary focus will be on building scalable systems, optimizing technology, and creating replicable processes rather than hands-on sales coaching. This role has evolved beyond the traditional leadership role and requires taking strategic initiatives and building the systems, processes, and team capabilities needed to execute them successfully.
Working directly with the CEO and a team of Directors, you will provide the complementary skillset of patience, systems thinking, and operational excellence needed to transform innovative ideas into sustainable business growth.
Position Responsibilities
- Own and align company sales and marketing growth strategy, ensuring predictable pipeline and revenue outcomes across all channels.
- Architect and continuously optimize scalable growth systems including playbooks, automation, campaigns, and reporting dashboards.
- Create repeatable processes and training materials to support additional markets expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with CEO to determine optimal go-to-market strategy for direct-to-seller channel expansion.
- Work closely with COO to ensure sales processes align seamlessly with operational capabilities and service delivery.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Lead the development and rollout of new service offerings.
- Oversee demand generation campaigns across direct mail, paid social, and future channels including PPC and TV advertising.
- Design, deploy, and operationalize unified Sales & Marketing Playbook for consistent execution and team scaling.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including gross profit, qualified opportunities, quota attainment, and pipeline velocity.
- Deliver accurate, data-driven revenue and pipeline forecasts to leadership team on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Conduct regular coaching and strategy sessions with leadership team and key personnel on weekly basis.
Position Qualifications
- 10+ years in sales and/or marketing roles with proven track record of scaling revenue in growth-stage companies.
- 3+ years in sales leadership position with demonstrated success in team building and performance management.
- Strong integrator and systems thinking mindset with ability to translate vision into executable processes and scalable operations.
- Proven experience architecting growth systems, automation, and performance optimization in technology-forward environments.
- Proficiency with modern sales and marketing technology including CRM platforms, automation tools, and analytics systems.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and automation for efficiency improvements and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing both sales and marketing functions with unified strategy approach and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity in fast-growing business environment.
- Ability to quickly understand and optimize multiple service offerings is essential.
